Central to many cities, towns and villages is the idea of the main street or promenade. In most cases these avenues and roads are straight lines, roads that connect the community to the outside world. In a great many cases, these avenues lead directly to the village well, church or square. From a geomantic perspective we might see these places as the navel or omphalos of the local community. A focal point where official duties are undertaken and also where the towns people meet to discuss issues that affect the community as a whole. |

This amazing paper from a few years ago explores the role that low frequency sound can play in creating apparitions, ghosts etc . Its a good reminder not to jump to esoteric conclusions for haunting type phenomena. |

When asked how much water a person drinks, the common response is "not enough!". Generally this is true, but a more essential part of fluid intake is the consistency in which it is taken. If a person sips water throughout the day they will remain consistently hydrated.
